I met Lee and Tiffany just a few months ago, when they came to Vermont from Philly, along with their 4-year-old daughter Ellie, for their engagement portrait session. We had such a great day of photography and getting to know one another, and I knew then that they’d be friends for life. I couldn’t wait to photograph their wedding and see them share their vows in front of their family and friends.
Lee and Tiffany chose to wed on July 4th, a day that celebrates independence and equality for everyone in this country. It reminded me of how proud I am to live in Vermont, where same sex weddings are embraced and honored. They are so in love, such wonderful mothers to their daughter and after meeting their families, I understood why they they are both so warm and giving to each other and those around them.
So, here’s to this beautiful couple and I hope this slideshow does their day justice!

Wow, I cried almost all the way through the video. It is absolutely beautiful! Congratulations to Lee and Tiffany!! I married my life partner of 12 years in Duxbury, VT on Sept 14th, 2009 and we return this year for 1st legally married anniversary. We have an appointment with Karen to do some portraits of the two of us while we are there celebrating. Karen you are a brilliant photographer and we are so looking forward to meeting you!
